Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top social networking apps on the iOS platform in Latin America demonstrated diverse performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provided valuable insights into the weekly metrics of these leading apps.

WhatsApp Messenger saw a fairly stable revenue pattern, peaking at about $149 in the final week of March. Weekly downloads showed fluctuations, with a high point of approximately 608K in early February and a low of around 442K later that month. Active users consistently increased from 23.4M to 23.5M over the quarter.

Facebook experienced a peak in revenue at approximately $41K during mid-January, but this metric gradually declined to around $25K by the end of March. Downloads remained relatively steady, with a notable dip to around 301K in late February. Active users hovered around 60M throughout the quarter, with slight increases and decreases.

Telegram Messenger had a significant revenue spike in late February, reaching nearly $28K, although it generally ranged between $6K and $15K for most weeks. Downloads showed moderate stability, peaking at approximately 318K in mid-January. Active users fluctuated slightly, ending the quarter at about 4M.

Messenger showed minimal revenue generation, with a few weeks peaking at around $26. Downloads exhibited a downward trend from approximately 235K in early January to about 185K in mid-March, before recovering slightly. Active users remained fairly consistent, averaging around 15.3M throughout the quarter.

Google Meet displayed a rising trend in downloads, reaching a peak of around 150K in mid-March. Active user numbers also rose steadily from about 68K at the beginning of the quarter to nearly 112K by the end.
